Carl serves as a church planting apprentice with Emmaus Road Community, a multi-site church that meets in homes throughout Boulder County, Colo. The goal of his apprenticeship/internship program is to help him develop and equip him with the skills necessary for effective church planting, discipleship and pastoring in any missional context.

In addition to his internship, Carl helps develop unity and community between Jewish and Gentile believers, supports and partners with messianic congregations in Israel, and helps meet the needs of "the least of these" (the poor, the widow, the orphan, the oppressed, and the addicted) in Israel.

Carl graduated from the University of Colorado at Boulder in 2006 with a B.A. in political science. He currently lives in Broomfield, Colo.
