For close to 30 years, Dave and his wife, Gina, have been ministering with young people and their families in inner-city Denver. In more recent years, Dave's calling has been to equip, coach and encourage ministry leaders who have a heart to serve the "least of these," as Jesus described in Mathew 25.

Dave combines his many years in urban youth ministry with his 13 years of experience in business in order to equip urban ministry leaders through an effort called the Denver Leadership Initiative. The four guiding objectives of this initiative (each with a focus of building healthy leaders and each reflective of Dave's heart for leaders in the city) are:

• Building Unity - Uniting leaders in our city (with a Kingdom focus),
• Building Competency - Learning core leadership principles and values,
• Clarifying Calling - Gaining focus, alignment and balance in ministry, and
• Creating Community - Developing safe and supportive relationships with others.

Dave and Gina have lived in inner-city Denver for their entire married life with the commitment to live life together with those they serve. They have been tremendously blessed with three sons: Nathan, Ryan and Tony.
