Randy and Cheryl ministered to the military community in Germany for 16 years before returning to the United States with their two sons. In 1993, they joined a ministry to university professors, because of the strategic influence professors have on society and the world.

The Lees continue to help Christian professors recognize that academia is their mission field by equipping them to minister to students and colleagues in appropriate ways, and facilitating networking opportunities and discussions. Their primary focus is on campuses in southern California, an epicenter of international influence and diversity, but they also maintain relationships nationally and internationally.

The Lees live in Los Angeles.
