Brian and his wife Katie were married in 2003, and shortly after began their ministry work in rural Alaska where they were public school teachers, serving at the church in the areas of youth ministry and worship. After two years in Alaska, the Lord called Brian and Katie to Nyeri, Kenya. They taught in the village school and served at Tumaini Children’s Home from 2005-2006. Their love for ministry work has continued since that time, and Brian and Katie have served on short-term missions in El Salvador and Nuevo Laredo, Mexico.

Brian and Katie teach in the Boulder Valley School District and serve at their church in the area of youth and worship ministries. Currently living in Lafayette, Colo., with their two children, the Lord has called Brian and Katie back to mission work in East Africa. Through Omuti, they are partnering with the local church in Kiwungu, Uganda, supporting efforts of: education, clean water, health and sanitation, and living out the Gospel message by supporting those in physical and spiritual need.
