John and Joy have served in ministry together for over fifty-seven years (thirty-two years with Campus Crusade for Christ and twenty-five years with SonWorks), and they have no intention of quitting! 

They’ve always worked well as a team, each functioning in their areas of strength. John excels at discerning what people are good at and then encouraging/releasing them to do the work. One of John’s regular mission fields is at the local community college in Chico, CA where he works with student athletes. He loves people, as does Joy who desires to get truth and grace, and point it out to others. She’s a talker and listener, and relates well with others. She encourages others to trust God, and then seeks to go alongside them on their journey with Him. Whether in a coffee shop, the locker room or in their home known for its warm hospitality, John and Joy are committed to helping others in all walks of life to know God and grow up in Him.
