Who We Are
A Community of Servants in Mission
The Story Behind Global Service Associates
For most of Christian history, the most fruitful missionaries didn't work alone. They traveled in communities, bound by a shared rule of life, sustained by mutual accountability, and freed to pursue their calling without the burden of building institutions from scratch. Global Service Associates was founded on that same ancient idea.
We are a dispersed missionary community that gives experienced Christian leaders the freedom, infrastructure, and belonging they need to pursue their God-given vision in ministry. We don't tell our members what to do. We don't send them where we want them to go. We believe God has already placed a calling in their hearts, and our job is to support, resource, and walk alongside them as they live it out.
Freedom. Community. Purpose.

Most mission organizations ask their leaders to fit into an existing structure. We take the opposite approach. At Global Service Associates, the mission follows the member, not the other way around.
We offer our members:
• A recognized legal and financial platform to raise funds and support their ministry
• A community of fellow servants who understand the joys and burdens of this life
• Freedom to pursue their calling in their own way, in their own time
• Encouragement, and prayer from a community that cares
• Minimal overhead — more than 90% of every donation goes directly to member ministries
Our Faith
We believe the historic creeds of the Christian faith and center ourselves with the Apostles' Creed and the Nicene Creed. We are not affiliated with any particular Christian denomination or church, which allows our members to cross boundaries and build bridges in Jesus' name.
As a community of servants in Christ, we are committed to the mission of God, to living out the Great Commandment, and to walking in the Holy Spirit. We grant each other the freedom to pursue our individual God-given dreams and callings, regardless of form or function.

Media Statement
As a dispersed community of servants in mission, Global Service Associates centers around commitments to historic Christian creeds and the calling of members to follow their God-given vocation in service to others.
At the same time, we allow room for members to hold different perspectives on political, theological, and social issues. The views individual members choose to express via published interviews, social media platforms, or public speaking engagements are their own and don't necessarily reflect the view of GSA as an organization. As members serve, we encourage them to appreciate and listen to others, to build bridges for the common good, to speak with consideration and understanding, and to focus on the transcendent purposes of God in the outcomes of their service.
