"I develop people so they can stand firm in this life and the next."
I've been in full-time ministry for 20+ years and held numerous roles, but at the end of the day, my passion has always been to see others reached for Christ and then developed in their faith to stand firm in Christ.
My joy is getting to do this with pastors and missionaries, and with young adults (~16-25 year old's).
During Covid, pastors and missionaries around the world started reaching out, needing someone they could talk with, share their troubles and burdens with, and to be supported and grow through the season they were in. And ever since I have sought to use my experience (the good, the bad, and the ugly) to be a shepherd and developer to those in full-time ministry.
As well, I love working with the younger generation!
And there is a battle raging for the hearts, minds and identities of these young adults! "In virtually every way that can be measured, Gen Z’s mental health is worse than that of previous generations. Youth suicide rates are climbing, antidepressant prescriptions for children are common, and the proliferation of mental health diagnoses has not helped the staggering number of kids who are lonely, lost, sad, and fearful of growing up." - Abigail Shrier
Focusing on the Gospel and identity, I work as a mental resilience coach to young adults, developing character, strength and resilience, so they can know and stand for Jesus in this turbulent culture this next generation is growing up in.
