Marrty collaborates regularly with local agencies, non-profits, and other clergy to find resources for people in need and to address social injustice. His training as a spiritual director helps him journey with people who find themselves "on the margins" in different ways, and his passion for history fuels his facilitation of "pilgrimages from below" that re-examine our individual and collective past.

Marrty lives in Broomfield, Colo., with his three teenagers.
