OMUTI

Omuti is a community development partnership in rural Uganda. Omuti means “tree” in Lusoga, the local language in the village of Kiwungu. This village is home to around 2,000 people and is part of the larger Kamuli District in south-central Uganda. The average age in Uganda is 15 years and the average daily wage is around $2. The work of Omuti is focused on holistic life change in the areas of spiritual, emotional, physical, intellectual, and economic development. We focus on business training, health & sanitation, and teacher training.

Through local and global faith partnerships, we aim to educate and empower the incredible community of Kiwungu into the future. For more info contact briankatiethomas@gmail.com
